In this video we will show you how to use green screen in Camtasia. To begin using the green screen effect in Camtasia, start by heading to your Media Bin. Select your green screen footage and simply drag it onto the timeline. Once it's there, you can easily adjust the size and position to perfectly fit your project canvas, ensuring your subject is framed just right for the next step.To remove the background, go to the Visual Effects panel. Find the 'Background Removal' effect and drag it onto your clip. Instantly, Camtasia removes the green, leaving your subject perfectly isolated and ready for a new scene.With your subject isolated, it's time to get creative. Return to the Media Bin and choose any image or video you'd like for your new background. Drag your chosen media to a track on the timeline directly underneath your subject. This simple layering technique instantly places you in a brand new environment.For the perfect composition, select your subject's clip. Use the properties panel to fine-tune its placement. Simply adjust the X and Y coordinates to position your subject exactly where you want for a professional result.And just like that, you’ve mastered the green screen effect. This powerful tool lets you create professional videos from anywhere, placing you in any location. Your polished project is now complete.
