In this video we will show you how to Do Hanging Indent in Google Docs. First, ensure your ruler is visible in Google Docs. Navigate to the "View" menu and select "Show ruler." This simple step unlocks precise control over your document's layout, providing the tangible tool you need for advanced formatting.Next, select the text you wish to format. You are seeing the entire block highlighted as we drag the bottom-left indent marker. This instantly shifts your paragraph, simplifying text positioning and saving valuable time. Now, for the hanging indent, observe the top-left indent marker. Dragging this upper triangle independently positions the first line of your text. This crucial action creates that professional, offset look, essential for citations or lists. Finally, adjust both markers until your hanging indent is perfectly aligned. You are seeing the first line positioned distinctively to the left of the remaining text. This provides exceptional clarity and organization, making your documents instantly more professional.
